01What is Staky?
Staky helps European businesses discover EU-based alternatives to US software, plan the switch, and get it done. You can browse alternatives, build a picture of your current tech stack, read real switching stories from the community, and — when you are ready — hand the migration to a verified European migration partner who manages the whole project inside Staky.
Everything you do on Staky stays within the European Economic Area. Your data is processed in the EU, in line with GDPR.
02Creating your account
- 1
Sign up
Go to the signup page and register with your name, email, and a password — or use “Continue with Google” to sign up in one click.
- 2
Confirm and log in
Once your account is created you land directly in your dashboard. If you signed up with email you can log in with the same credentials any time.
- 3
Set up your profile
Open Settings → Profile to add an avatar, a short bio, your company, and social links. A complete profile makes your posts and requests more trustworthy.
Everyone starts as a switcher. If you run a migration business you can apply to become a partner later from Settings — see “Becoming a migration partner”.
03Finding your way around
After logging in, the sidebar on the left is your home base. Each item opens a different part of the app:
- Dashboard — your metrics, quick actions, and updates from tools in your stack.
- Discover — search and filter EU alternatives to US software.
- Feed — switching stories and expert posts from the community.
- My Stack — the tools your business uses today and what you plan to switch to.
- Partners — verified migration partners you can ask for help.
- Requests — every migration request you have sent and its live status.
- Settings — profile, plan and billing, notifications, privacy, and account.
The top bar has global search, a bell for notifications, and an envelope for direct messages. Your avatar on the far right opens the account menu.
04Installing Staky as an app
Staky is a progressive web app, so you can install it like a native app — no app store needed. In Chrome or Edge on desktop, click the install icon in the address bar. On iPhone or iPad, open Staky in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”. On Android, Chrome shows an “Install app” prompt in the browser menu.
The installed app updates itself automatically whenever we ship new features.
